Welcome to the new Ingredient Directory Issue One,

Happy New Year from all of us at JB Foods and J.Browns Craft Butchers, we hope you had a busy and prosperous Festive season. It’s a new year with new beginnings and we are proud to announce the rebrand of our promotional brochure. Welcome to Issue 1 of our new Ingredient Directory. With 6 issues throughout the year, they will be full to the brim with promotions, recipe ideas and new products to inspire our customers.

Our New Year's resolution is to research food trends, and to share them with you. You will notice throughout that we have discussed various trends, including Vegan, Hawaiian cuisine and more. January and February are full of foodie events, with Veganuary,  Burns Night on the 25th of January and Valentines Day.

Our front cover features one of 2020’s emerging trends, The rising profile of Hawaiian cuisine is being led by its healthy, fresh and customisable credentials. The emergence of poke and in part, by the transition of street food operators into the restaurant space. Notable practitioners include Honi Poké, Island Poké and Polu Poké. Our poke bowl is made with tofu, diced mango, edamame beans and avocado and more.
